Shreya Tanisha is an actor, writer, and director trained at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is the founder of MZL Productions, a film and theatre production house in London that addresses the issue of underrepresentation of women of colour within the arts and creative industries.
MZL Productions is currently inviting submissions for their festival NOMAD NOT MAD in London, April 2020, a festival of new work by artists of colour. The festival has been indefinitely postponed due to the COVID19 pandemic and Shreya Tanisha's other commitments. We are still accepting submissions of all kinds for when the festival will be held in the future.
The brief is simple. What makes you feel you belong? What makes you feel you don't belong? Who are you? Who are we?
